eBooks4free website was born in 2000 as a personal website by me, the one man site, Andrea Mosca, Italy.
The purpose was to give free culture and information to the people, linking only to totally free eBooks and to full text versions, selecting quality authors and editions.

Some time ago the site was still made in html-only, all links and contents were edited manually.
Now finally a database-driven version has been implemented, so many new features will come.

Today, the idea is always the same: gather quality texts and information from many different sources, selecting only the quality eBooks and the totally free ones and re-building the index.

In additions, new Authors are sending their works to be published here and a small community of readers and writers is starting to grow.
